MaxSclFctr

XML identifier: Defines the scaling factor applied for all text based buttons (both web buttons aka QLis and Reset/Local admin login/language abbreviation).

Purpose: Helps define the maximum (up-) scaling for button text in then navigation toolbar. Note that this in practice will work together automatic downscale that will try to prevent buttons from unneccesarily be placed in overflow menus (… type menus).

Status: In use from May 2026, in versions 1.1.8.x and 1.2.6.x.

Category: Single level (aka standard identifier).

Usage: Setting a number larger than 100, for instance 150, (meaning 150%) will allow buttons to grow beyond button defined font size up to the given percentage.

Default:

Defaults to 100 of compatibility reasons, per default respecting designated font sizes.

Note on future development:

Upon customer request, this default may be changed to 150, which in testing has proved to be a sound value for todays typical display sizes.

Development status: Released in 1.1.8.x/1.2.6.x. Standard feature, as defined in app config.
